Controversial league star Greg Bird is returning to the NRL after signing a four-year deal with Gold Coast.
The Titans announced this morning that Bird had agreed to a one year contract with three one-year options, in a deal approved by the NRL.
Bird returns to the league after successfully appealing a court conviction for recklessly wounding his girlfriend.
He spent the last season with Les Catalans in France after being cut loose by Cronulla but rejected a reported $640,000 two-year deal from the Super League club to join the Titans.
