The Rotorua golfer Danny Lee is fighting to keep his season alive, producing an impressive round to jump back into contention at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston.
After a poor opening round 74, Lee bounced back with a six under par 65, firing seven birdies, including five in a row on the front nine.
He sits five shots behind the leaders, Jason Day and Ryan Palmer, in a tie for 18th.
Lee's currently projected to jump to 77th in the FedEx Cup standings, needing to get into the top 70 to get into the BMW Championship next week.
