The New Zealand and Pakistan cricket teams have quite a bit in common going into their three-match test series starting today in Dunedin.
They're ranked only one place apart in the test standings with the Black Caps 7 and Pakistan 6, both sides are coming to terms with leadership upheavals, and they have fragile batting lineups.
Dunedin's University Oval is likely to favour the team batting first, and both sides have hinted they'll take only four specialist bowlers into the match.
It should be fine for the start of the match at midday, after some brief morning showers.
