The Ferns shouldn't have too many problems against the Africans, who are headed by Canterbury Tactix shooter Mwai Kumwenda.

The country's medal winning track cyclists are back in action with Eddie Dawkins, Sam Webster and Matt Archibald in the quarter-finals of the individual sprint and they should contend for the medals.

New Zealand men also ride in the individual pursuit.

The women's hockey team plays Trinidad and Tobago.

There are also New Zealanders in action in the pool, weightlifting, judo, lawn bowls, squash, table tennis, and boxing.
