The Hurricanes loose forward Brad Shields has re-signed with the franchise and the Wellington Lions for another two years.
The 23-year-old has signed with the Lions until the end of the 2015 season, and the Hurricanes club through to 2016.
Shields, who's seen as a future All Blacks prospect, says he's excited by the prospect of continuing his involvement with both clubs.
