Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic have maintained a share of the lead in the ANZ netball championship after a tense 50-49 win over the Adelaide Thunderbirds in round nine.
The Magic and the Melbourne Vixens are four points clear of the rest, but the Magic have a game in hand.
The New South Wales Swifts and Queensland Firebirds share third place.
