Parramatta skipper and former Kiwis captain Nathan Cayless' National Rugby League grand final hopes will come down to a make-or-break fitness test on his injured hamstring on Saturday.
Cayless limped off during the Eels' preliminary final win over the Bulldogs but remains positive about playing the decider against Melbourne on Sunday.
Cayless says he's desperate to make a second grand final appearance after losing to Newcastle in the 2001 final, but he won't put himself ahead of the team if he isn't fully fit.
