Pocock scans inconclusive

The Wallabies flanker David Pocock is still no closer to learning how longer he will sidelined by a knee injury after a second series of scans proved inconclusive.

The 45-Test flanker reinjured his reconstructed left knee in the Brumbies' Super Rugby win over the Western Force in Perth on Saturday.

He flew to Brisbane yesterday to consult with his knee surgeon Peter Meyers but remained none the wiser after further scans again failed to deliver a clear diagnosis.

The Brumbies say they are hoping for more conclusive results tomorrow.

It's the same knee Pocock had reconstruction surgery on early last year after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the round-three clash with the NSW Waratahs.

He's missed much of the last two seasons with knee injuries.
