The New Zealand Breakers have beaten the Cairns Taipans 96-78 at Auckland's Vector Arena to keep their Australian basketball playoff hopes alive.
The Breakers led 43-36 at half-time and by 18 heading into the final quarter.
The win moves the three-time defending champions up one place above the Taipans to fifth on the ladder, just outside the finals berths, and levels their series at 1-1.
Gary Wilkinson top scored again with 22 points while swingman Tom Abercrombie contributed 21.
Elsewhere, the Wollongong Hawks thrashed the Townsville Crocodiles 90-75 to climb off the bottom and above the Crocodiles.
The Perth Wildcats remain top after dishing out an 85-61 hiding of the visiting Adelaide 36ers.
