Chelsea draw at West Brom

11:13 am on 12 February 2014

English Premier League football leaders Chelsea's title challenge suffered a setback when West Bromwich Albion grabbed an 87th-minute equaliser to snatch a 1-all draw at The Hawthornes.

It looked like Jose Mourinho's side would move four points clear after they scored just before the break, but West Brom grabbed a share of the points which moves them out of the relegation zone.

Chelsea now have 57 points, two ahead of Arsenal, who host Manchester United tomorrow, and three clear of Manchester City, who are at home to Sunderland.

At the other end of the table, West Ham United again showed they can win without suspended striker Andy Carroll as they beat Norwich City 2-nil to ease their relegation fears with a third successive victory and fourth straight clean sheet.

Second-bottom Cardiff City missed the chance to move out of the drop zone when they were held nil-all at home to Aston Villa while Southampton jumped to eighth with a 1-nil win at Hull City.
