The veteran Veteran Russell Ingall will return to the Australian V8 Supercars series this year to contest his 19th straight season as a full-time driver.
After much speculation, the 49-year-old has confirmed, he has signed with fledgling Holden outfit Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport.
The announcement comes barely three months after Ingall raced what was dubbed his last stand at the season-ending Sydney 500 in December.
But the 2005 champion insists the new deal isn't a comeback saying he wasn't comfortable with the way his so called retirement was presented and that he had always stated if there was a suitable full-time opportunity for this season he'd take it.
