The father of Wanaka freestyle skiers Jossi, Byron and Beau-James Wells says he's very proud of their Olympic selection.
For the first time three siblings have been selected for a New Zealand Olympic team with the Wells boys a part of a 15 athlete team to compete at next month's Sochi winter Olympics.
They're currently in Aspen competing in the X Games and father and coach Bruce Wells says the family are hugely excited about seeing the brothers compete.
With the introduction of new sports, 12 of the 15 will be first-time Olympians, with just three having attended an Olympic Games before, Bex Sinclair in the snowboard halfpipe, Ben Sandford in the skeleton, and speed skater Shane Dobbin.
