Auckland golfer Tae Koh is in control at the halfway stage of the Australian Amateur Championship Final and on the cusp of making history in Adelaide.
The 19-year-old from the Manukau Golf Club is 4up over West Australian Curtis Luck after the first 18 holes of the 36 hole final at The Grange Golf Club.
If he can continue that form in the final 18 holes Koh would become the first New Zealand golfer to win the Australian Amateur in 22 years since Michael Campbell won in 1992.
Only two New Zealand golfers have won the Australian Amateur (Campbell and C E S Gillies in 1899).
