Counties speedster Sherwin Stowers has suffered a hamstring injury and has been replaced by Taranaki's Waisake Naholo, for the upcoming rugby sevens tournament in Las Vegas.
A bureaucratic stumbling block's ended teenage Aucklander Akira Ioane's hopes of debuting for New Zealand - Ioane was unable to obtain the required travel documents in time for Sunday's flight to Las Vegas, and the 18-year-old's been replaced by Manawatu's George Tilsley.
Tilsley has previously played for the All Blacks Sevens and was player of the tournament at the recent National Sevens.
