Leicester four points clear

The All Whites striker Chris Wood's Leicester City are four points clear at the top of the second-division English Football Championship after routing promotion rivals Derby 4-1, while second-placed Burnley and third-placed Queen's Park Rangers also won.

Leicester were in dominant form at the King Power Stadium as they underlined their promotion credentials and, in the process, dealt a blow to one of their main challengers for a place in the English Premier League.

The Rams, now 10 points behind Leicester in fourth, were emphatically outplayed as they slipped to a second successive league loss and an eighth defeat in their past nine matches against the Foxes - including a third to Leicester this season.

Burnley were 2-1 victors at Yeovil and QPR also won away, 3-1 at Ipswich Town.

Sheffield Wednesday put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone with a 6-0 hiding of visitors Leeds United.
