The England and Chelsea football captain John Terry has signed a new five-year deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2013-14 seaso.
28 year old Terry, who has been at Chelsea since he was 14, turned down three approaches to join Manchester City in the close season.
British media estimated the deal to be worth more than 90-million dollars, or 360-thousand dollars a week, making Terry the highest-paid player in the country.
