The second seeds Julian Knowle of Austria and Brazilian partner Marcelo Melo have won the doubles tennis title at Auckland's Heineken Open.
The pair clinched their first title together with a match tiebreak, coming back to beat another Austrian-Brazilian combination, the top seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares, 4-6 6-3 10-5 in the final.
The victory over the former Heineken Open champions Peya and Soares is Knowle's 17th ATP doubles title and first with Melo, who's now won 13.
