The Marlborough bowler Ali Forsyth and Helen King from the Victoria club in Wellington are the 2014 New Zealand singles bowles champions.
The 34-year-old Forsyth from Havelock defeated 19-year-old Australian Sean Ingham of Broadbeach, 21-20.
It was a stunning last bowl shot that clinched the New Zealand representative his third men's singles title having also won in 2003 and 2004.
In the women's final, King dominated 18-year-old Tayla Bruce of Cristchurch's Burnside club 21-14.
