The Croatian footballer Josip Simunic will miss next year's World Cup finals in Brazil after being suspended by FIFA for 10 matches for making pro-Nazi chants at the end of last month's playoff victory over Iceland.
The game's ruling body said in a statement it had taken into account all the circumstances of the case, in particular the gravity of the incident, in deciding to suspend Simunic for 10 official matches.
