The British cyclist Bradley Wiggins has been knighted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace in a ceremony he described as humbling.
Sir Bradley, who won gold at the London Olympics and became the first British winner of the Tour de France, was honoured for services to cycling.
Sir Bradley says the title is an incredible honour and something that will take a while to get use to.
The British-born Pakistani cricketer Wasim Khan was appointed an MBE in the ceremony.
