Auckland City has been beaten 1-0 by Spanish football club Espanyol in a friendly in Barcelona ahead of the Fifa Club World Cup.
Auckland coach Ramon Tribulietx says it was a great experience for them.
Tribulietx says they came up against players who were not physically big, rather players who were very good on the ball.
Auckland City now move onto Morocco with their first match of the Club World Cup against local side Casablanca.
