A late strike from Leo Bertos has seen the Wellington Phoenix beat the Perth Glory 2-1 in their A-League football clash at Westpac Stadium.
The attacking midfielder's 30 metre strike in the 85th-minute secured the Phoenix's first win of the season in their opening home match.
Bertos was the star act of the match, his penetrating runs from midfield continually causing Perth headaches and providing the Phoenix front men with enough opportunities to keep coach Ricki Herbert happy heading into round three, away to Brisbane Roar.
Gold Coast and Sydney top the standings with two wins from two, while the Phoenix are 5th.
