Rotorua's Kane Radford and Taranaki's Charlotte Webby have taken the men's and women's honours respectively in the opening round of the New Zealand Ocean Swim Series across Auckland's Waitemata Harbour.
Radford won the Harbour Crossing by just three seconds from pool specialist and London Olympian Dylan Dunlop-Barrett, who pushed him for the entire 2.9 kilometres across from Bayswater to Viaduct Harbour.
Webby comfortably won by 32 seconds from talented Australian Jessica Walker.
