Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic has defended his ATP World Tour Finals title with a straight sets win over world number one Rafa Nadal in the final in London.

Djokovic dominated from start to finish, winning the pair's 39th career meeting with surprising ease, 6-3 6-4.

Since losing to Nadal in the US Open final, Djokovic has won 22 straight matches.

This is Djokovic's third ATP Finals title, while Nadal is yet to win one.

This year Djokovic also won the Australian Open.

Nadal does finish the year as the world number one, winning the French and US Opens along the way.
