The Wellington Phoenix remain winless in the A-League football competition after drawing 1-1 with the Perth Glory
in their match in Christchurch.
Phoenix captain Andrew Durante opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a rare goal - just his third ever in the competition - but Japanese star Ryo Nagai equalised before the break, and there was no more scoring in the second half.
Six All Whites from the Phoenix travelled straight to Auckland along with Perth's Shane Smeltz to board a plane for Los Angeles, where they'll prepare for next Thursday's World Cup playoff in Mexico.
