The New Zealand horse It's A Dundeel remains favourite for tonight's $3.5 million Cox Plate at Moonee Valley in Melbourne.

It's A Dundeel will be trying to become the ninth New Zealand-trained winner of Australasia's biggest weight-for-age race since Bonecrusher headed home Waverley Star in 1986.

The four-year-old hasn't raced for more than a month, after a foot abscess forced him to miss the Caulfield Stakes 2 weeks ago, but trainer Murray Baker is confident he has the horse back to full fitness for the 2000 metre race.....

It's A Dundeel trainer Murray Baker. Sunline won it twice, while Ocean Park won last year.
