What's become known as the "phantom" goal, scored in Germany's Bundessiga at the weekend, possibly won't be ruled on until the end of this month.
Third-placed Bayer-Leverkusen enjoyed a 2-1 victory at Hoffenheim but replays showed the winning header went into the goal through a hole in the side netting.
Hoffenheim have demanded a replay and the German Football Federation will meet to review the goal and assess the referee's match report. The outcome could be a replay, or the result will stand.
But the National Federation's elections could delay the hearing until the end of the month.
