Joseph Parker has scored a second-round knockout victory over Afa Tatupu in Auckland to lift the New Zealand Boxing Federation heavyweight title.
21-year-old Parker was tested by Tatupu with the pair throwing punches toe-to-toe and Parker suffered a cut above the eye early in the second round after their heads clashed.
However Parker ended it with a minute and 55 seconds remaining in the second round.
The cut is expected to end any hopes of another bout for Parker this year.
