The Australian Rugby Union still hasn't heard from the Wallabies deserter Timana Tahu who's apparently returning to league.
It's understood Tahu wants an early release from his rugby contracts after being left out of the Wallabies four tests so far this winter, and spending much of the Super 14 season on the Waratahs bench.
The Wallabies coach Robbie Deans has revealed he had Tahu pencilled in for his third test start a month ago, but he wasn't selected after pulling out of a club match with a stomach bug.
Deans says he won't stand in the way of Timanu's release.
