England finished the opening day of the first Ashes cricket Test on a respectable 336 for seven in Cardiff but the Australian bowlers started and finished well.
England lost three wickets before lunch and while six batsmen got to at least 30, no one got past 70, Kevin Pietersen top-scoring with 69 on what looked a good batting pitch.
The former Australian fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz says that won't have impressed England's coach Andy Flower.
Kevin Pietersen threw away his wicket attempting to sweep a ball from a metre outside off stump.
