The England pace bowler Graham Onions has retained his place in the squad for the game of the Ashes series against Australia starting on Wednesday night in Cardiff.
26-year-old Onions, who made his Test debut earlier this season against the West Indies, has been preferred to his Durham team-mate Steve Harmison.
Batsman Ian Bell and left arm spinner Monty Panesar return to the line-up along with the all rounder Andrew Flintoff.
