Andy Roddick has ended Lleyton Hewitt's Wimbledon campaign, winning a five-set epic quarter-final in just under four hours.
The American sixth seed beat the Australian, who refused to lie down, twice coming from a set down before Roddick wion 6-3 6-7 7-6 4-6 6-4.
He'll face the British hope Andy Murray, while the five-time champion Roger Federer meets Tommy Haas in the other semi-final.
The 2002 champion Hewitt, who's ranked 56th, appeared to be suffering from the left thigh strain he sustained during his fourth-round win over No.23 seed Radek Stepanek.
Earlier Federer beat Ivo Karlovic and Murray ousted Juan Carlos Ferrero, also in straight sets, while Haas upset the fourth seed Novak Djokovic in four.
Haas is the oldest player in the men's draw and it's his first time in the final four at Wimbledon while Federer's reached his 21st consecutive grand slam semi-final.
