That has Wilkinson nine under overall, 10 off the lead, while Rotorua's Danny Lee is a shot further back after a 69.
Hamilton golfer Steve Alker missed the cut by two shots, which won't help his last-ditch bid to book a spot on the elite PGA Tour.
Wilkinson and Lee have already qualified for the PGA Tour.
