Double Olympic champion Valerie Adams has qualified top for the shot put final at the World Atheltics Championships in Moscow.
Adams, who is chasing her fourth world title, threw just once with a distance of 19 point 89 metres - well over the automatic qualifying distance of 18.7 metres.
The final is overnight.
Brent Newdick finished 23rd in the decathlon.
