The 2009 New Zealand elite rowing team makes its first international appearance of the season in Munich this weekend at a World Cup regatta which is a part of their preperations for the World Championships in Poland in August.

The single scull world champion Mahe Drsysdale says the team's being training well and he says he's really enjoying his rowing at the moment.

Drysdale's not sure about his opposition buy expects Norway's Oflaf Tufte and England's Alan Campbell to be threats again although he's not sure if Germany's Andre Sinek will be in a single again
