The final four in netball's trans Tasman competition could all but be decided after this weekend's round.
The top two sides, the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic and the Melbourne Vixens are guaranteed semi final berths while the third placed Adelaide Thunderbirds are just one win away from the semis.
The other spot is essentially a battle between the Southern Steel and the Queensland Firebirds, with the two sides squaring off in Brisbane on Monday night.
If the Steel can win it will give them a four point buffer over the Firebirds and significantly would also be the first win by a New Zealand franchise in Australia.
After this weekend there are two more rounds and Queensland coach Vicki Wilson is predicting the final four won't be known until then.
She anticipates the Perth based West Coast Fever, the Canterbury Tactix and the New South Wales Swifts to play a spoiling in deciding who gets the last spot.
Tomorrow night the Northern Mystic host the Melbourne Vixens in Auckland, New South Wales play the Central Pulse in Sydney.
On Monday night the Magic host the Canterbury Tactix in Rotorua.
