Latimer says Chiefs don't plan on being taught a lesson again by Crusaders

Attitude and intensity have been keywords at Chiefs training this week ahead of Saturday night's Super rugby semi-final against the Crusaders in Hamilton.

Having won the New Zealand conference the Chiefs had last weekend off, watching the Crusaders overwhelm the Queensland Reds 38-9 in the sudden quarter final.

It was reminicent of the way the Crusaders accounted for the Chiefs a couple of weeks earlier in round robin play.

That 43-15 loss has been playing on the Chiefs minds since and loose forward Tanerau Latimer says there's been little need for much video analysis.

He says they know how the Crusaders play and is promising a much improved and more formidable performance from the defending champions this weekend.
