Sonny Bill Williams has made a perfect - but brief - start to his professional boxing career in Brisbane , stopping New Zealand's Gary "The Baboon" Gurr in the second round.
The fight was called off 1 minute, 22 seconds into the second round of the bout, which had been scheduled as four two-minute rounds.
The former Kiwi rugby league international rocked Gurr late in the first round with a big right upper cut and his opponent never recovered.
Williams is in Australia for the first time since infamously leaving NRL club the Bulldogs to take up a lucrative French rugby contract with Toulon and will play for the Barbarioans against the Wallabies in Sydney.
He featured in the undercard to the IBO middleweight world title fight between Anthony Mundine and holder Daniel Geale.
