The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed the signing of former Australian rugby league backrower Michael Crocker until the end of the 2012 NRL season.
The 28 year old has spent the past three seasons at the Melbourne Storm, winning a premiership in 2007, and had signed a three-year deal with British Super League club Hull reportedly worth more than one million dollars.
But after his visa application, and subsequent appeal, was rejected by the British High Commission, Crocker chose to return to Sydney, where he previously played for the Roosters.
Crocker has signed a three and a half year deal and will be available for selection in next weekend's clash with the West Tigers.
