Aston Villa and Everton have played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Villa Park in English football's Premier League but the result's done little for either team's attempt to climb into the top four and a Champions League place.
Villa remain fifth and Everton sixth.
Both teams, however, remain on course for a place in next season's Europa League, the revamped UEFA Cup, while Fulham also kept alive their hopes of a place in that competition with a 3-1 come-from-behind win at Manchester City.
Manchester United remain at the top of the table one point clear of Liverpool with a game in hand.
