The Pakistan Cricket Board fears major sponsors will desert them after last week's attack by gunmen on the Sri Lanka team bus in Lahore.
Seven people were killed and six Sri Lanka players wounded in the terrorist attack.
The PCB chief operating officer Saleem Altaf says major sponsors in Pakistan are bound to rethink sponsorship deals if there is no international cricket in the country.
He says obviously it's going to eat into revenues and existing funds.
