In the Ben Hogan bracket Luke Donald conceded his match to Ernie Els and Stewart Cink beat Phil Mickelson 1-up.
In the Gary Player bracket Sean O'Hair beat Ian Poulter 2 and 1 and Paul Casey beat Peter Hanson 4 and 2.
In the Sam Snead bracket Ross Fisher beat Jim Furyk 4 and 3 and Justin Leonard beat Oliver Wilson on the 19th hole.
So in the quarter-finals McIlroy plays Ogilvy, Els plays Cink, O'Hair plays Casey and Fisher plays Leonard
