America's National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell has taken a pay cut of more than 20 percent as part of the league's belt-tightening moves that include the elimination of 169 staff jobs.
Goodell took a voluntary cut from the $22 million salary package he was to receive last year and agreed to freeze his salary for this year along with other executive staff.
NFL teams have axed more than 200 jobs so far.
