The Hurricanes hooker Dane Coles has been charged with disorderly conduct after an incident in Porirua at the weekend.
Coles was arrested on saturday night and will appear before the Porirua District court later this week.
Hurricanes chief executive Greg Peters says it wasn't a major incident but confirmed if Coles is prosecuted it's likely he will face disciplinary action from the New Zealand Rugby Union.
22-year-old Coles has started the first two Hurricanes matches this Super 14 season with regular hooker Andrew Hore out with injury.
