The promoters of the David Tua/Shane Cameron fight in June are rejecting suggestions the bout "doesn't shape up".
Promoter David Higgins of Duco Events says it's dismaying and unprofessional that Auckland City Councillor Aaron Bhatnagar has attempted to trash an event that leading commentators are calling the top New Zealand sports event of 2009.
He says Tua vs Cameron is being organised by private sector experts with an impressive track record of success in event promotion.
