Breakers hope hard yards will pay off against Hawks

The Assistant coach of the New Zealand Breakers basketball side is hoping a lot of hard work in training will lead to the ANBL side breaking its current three-game losing streak.

The Breakers play the first of two road games in two nights against the Wollongong Hawks this evening.

The Breakers currently sit third in the competition, while the Hawks are second to last in ninth.

Assistant Coach Dean Vickerman says there has been a lot of fine tuning going on this week in training, mainly focusing on execution.

The Breakers will then travel to play the Adelaide 36ers on Saturday night.
