Australian Olympic officials have asked their government for an extra 100-million dollars in each of the next three years to help maintain their Olympic ranking.
Australia finished 5th on the overall medals table in Beijing last year and 6th on the gold medal table, but the AOC president John Coates says they're in danger of slipping out of the the top 10 countries at the next games in London if funding isn't increased dramatically.
