Breakers may go inside against Hawks

11:19 am on 2 January 2009

The New Zealand Breakers may look for more of an inside game when they take on the Wollongong Hawks in the Australian National basketball League tonight.

Without the injured CJ Bruton to run the outside shooting, they Breakers could look for more points inside the paint.

A win will keep the Breakers on top of the table, while assistant coach Dean Vickerman says the Hawks are a lot better side at home than their 8th placing suggests....

He says the Hawks may be without a couple of key big guys so they'll look for more action inside.

The Breakers guard Kirk Penney was the difference between the two sides when they met earlier this season as he scored 41 points.
