Lawyers have argued in a Philadelphia federal court over whether more than four thousand former National Football League players can sue the league over brain injuries.
The players want the case heard in court, arguing the NFL failed to tell them of the risks of playing football and glorifying violence at the expense of the players.
But the NFL says the case is about workplace safety and should be resolved under the collective contract.
A decision on whether the case will proceed isn't expected for several weeks.
