The All Whites football coach Ricki Herbert is hoping to entice New Zealand-born Western Sydney Wanderers striker Kwabena Appiah-Kubi to commit to the All Whites ahead of their final world cup qualifier in November.
The 20-year-old Appiah-Kubi was born in New Zealand and is of Ghanaian decent, having moved to Australia when he was a youngster.
Herbert says he is also on the hunt for other players who may have a New Zealand connection and could be eligible to play for the All Whites.
